Old Head Pier directions.
The Old head Pier trip starts very close to the "Speckled Door" Pub at the old head. Drive from Kinsale, following signs for "Old Head" all the way, till you come to a small cove on your left. There is a slight lay by at an entrance to a private house and holiday home complex. There is parking for one or two cars here but further along on the right there is a bigger carpark.
Coming from the west: Drive to Ballinspittle and Garrettstown beach, pass the 2 beaches on your right and continue along the main road till you see the Speckled door pub in front of you, the pier is just 50m past the pub still on the main road.
